Our team have been pushing ahead on all fronts over the past month to bring this massive project to its concluding phase.
The critical Kleinton Road widening works are progressing well, with the roadway prime and seal scheduled for this week. Once the asphalt is down, focus will shift to the footpath installation, topsoil respread, street tree planting and construction of our feature boundary fencing.
The sewer pump station is now complete and we are applying the finishing touches so that we can move to the commissioning stage and have it ready for early November.
Our landscaper has constructed an impressive feature retaining wall on one of our future release lots, right in the heart of the estate. The first of our picnic shelters and balustrading will also be installed over the next few weeks.
The process of planting our street trees, along with those throughout our corridor of open space, is on track. However, the continued dry weather has certainly posed significant challenges for our landscaper to keep them well-watered.
The majority of our 147 lots are now finished, with just a final few requiring topsoil respread. Progress on this has been necessarily slowed due to the impact of the dry and windy conditions.
Our contractors have now kick started the council certification process ready for handover to council and we are very excited to be entering this final phase. It has been quite a journey to this point, but we are ever focused on the end game, providing exceptional quality homesites, for a wonderful new community at Wirraglen.
